AB	En Cusch verwekte daarna Nimrod, die belangrijk begon te worden op aarde.
SV	Cusch nu gewon Nimrod; die begon geweldig te zijn op aarde.
WLC	וְכ֖וּשׁ יָלַ֣ד אֶת־נִמְרֹ֑וד ה֣וּא הֵחֵ֔ל לִהְיֹ֥ות גִּבֹּ֖ור בָּאָֽרֶץ׃ ס
Trans.	wəḵûš yālaḏ ’eṯ-nimərwōḏ hû’ hēḥēl lihəywōṯ gibwōr bā’āreṣ:

AC	י וכוש ילד את נמרוד הוא החל להיות גבור בארץ {ס}
ASV	And Cush begat Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one in the earth.
BE	And Cush was the father of Nimrod: he was the first to be a great man in the earth.
Darby	And Cush begot Nimrod: he began to be mighty on the earth.
